time for sleep.. have some thoughts.

I'm only awake because of the sugar intake overload from all the popsicles I consumed today! ..haha!

was supposed to meet up with a client today, but he never called. oh well! as a result, I was able to spend the day relaxing and watching some anime. I haven't had any real "me" time in quite awhile.

I made some changes to joejiko.com today including removing the buzz button, adding the new facebook send feature, and a new, fading photo sideshow. check it out if you've got a minute.

that's all for now.. goodnight reader!

Invite all your women to Google+

Update: I made a doodle of this to illustrate my point. "how to spread Google+"

I've been trying to stay up to date on Google+. As I was reading today, I ran across an article stating that social networking websites are fueled by women. Well, that makes sense. Women do talk a lot. But beyond female blathering, more girls to look at = more boys going to look at them. Not only will the women spread around verbally the things they like, but they also bring in men who want to see the things they like (pretty girls). It's a win-win situation. :)

Why are people so unsupportive?

Does it really hurt you to support somebody else and their work? Why are so many people obsessively self-centered? There ARE other people out there besides yourself.

Show somebody you support them! Go ask your friends what they've done lately & ask them to show off for you. Take a little time out of your day for someone else.. you might just enjoy it.

What if humans lived forever?

entropy

universe losing energy as it expands resulting in total blackness.

human condition wouldn't allow us to ever feel fulfilled. even at the end of a billion years, even then we would feel that it wasn't enough.

The chance system

I'm curious to find out why people seem to assume there's always a second chance.

There isn't.

In fact, sometimes you don't even get ONE chance.

Your life is a single chance.
Every choice you make is a chance.
Every breath you take..

Simple enough, right?

If someone was willing to take a risk on you and give you a chance, you should be walking on eggshells to make sure you don't fuck it up.

The USCB estimates that the world population exceeded 7 billion on March 12, 2012.
That means if I gave every person 1 chance.. that would be 7 billion chances.

Unfortunately, I have a "chance giving" quota.
(It's very similar to my "fucks given" quota)

That means not all of you are going to get a single chance.
Actually.. almost none of you will.

These days there's a chance shortage.
So if you're one of the lucky few..

Don't fuck it up.

PS, I don't know who the fuck the USCB. I found that stat on Google.

This food is so good!

Have you ever gone to a restaurant and had somebody decide to share their opinion of how "good" the food is?

I've always found this strange.

Not everyone likes the same food or orders the same thing.

People make generic statements about how they enjoyed something but they're really making a huge assumption that you're exactly like them!

I always tell people that there's no such thing as good or bad.   Both concepts are entirely subjective.

Everybody has a different life and a different view.

Just because you think something is good, doesn't mean everyone does.

Food for thought :)

i hate tomatoes.. so i always eat them

thinking is good.

whenever you find yourself not wanting to do something, fight to do the opposite

for example, i hate tomatoes.. so i always eat them

anyway the point is:

why do we eat food?

tasting good and preference has nothing to do with its purpose

tomatoes are great for your body

the mind gets in the way of all sorts of things. it's usually better to force it to shut the fuck up

and do what's best

The perfect work environment

No lights.

No sounds.

I had an idea that would make life so much cooler.

What if you could remove your ear drums and replace them with digital ear drums?

(update 12/6 -- turns out somebody did)

Then you could have settings for really convenient things like mute, volume control, and noise filters.

People being too loud? Decrease volume.

Someone listening to awful music right next to you out loud? Mute.

Don't like someone's voice? Change to robot.

Ahh... maybe one day.

Would you give up your real ear drums for digital ones?

Do I know you?

Why do people ask the question when it's clearly  rhetorical? Technically the answer is always "yes" because if you can address someone, you already know them.

define: know (verb) be aware of through observation, inquiry, or information.

Feelings and actions are not directly related

I can feel something and not act on it, or I can act against something I feel, or I can act and you can assume I feel something that I don't.

It boils down to the fact that I am the only one who feels my feelings. You can't ever know if I feel something or not based on whether I perform an action or not.

The feeling exists regardless.

The only way you will ever know is if you ask.
