Everything I hate about American culture in a sentence.
My parents maintained a relationship from Florida to Illinois after they met each other over a summer vacation.
They would take turns calling each other once a week because long distance calls were expensive.
They would write letters back and forth that would take days or weeks to arrive.
People today.. take it for granted how convenient communication and travel is.
Time is not real. Humans made it up.
And Humans alone maintain it.
