Minor changes to JoeJiko.com in antipation of something secret

changes to joejiko.com1 Removed "resume" and "more" from the navigation
I'm planning to focus on the contact and about page as I reorganize everything.

2 a) added "about me" headline to the footer
While I reorganize the site, the homepage should really be an "about" page. Hopefully this will help people landing on my site to find a summary of who I am and what I do as well as my interests.

b) modified line height and font size to adhere to the typography "golden ratio"
This is in an effort to improve readability.

Let me know what you think in the comments :)

Changes to the homepage layout. Updated logo, Klout links, and Google+ badge

#1- swapped out the logo for a more current version that doesn't get cut off in the top right corner. reduced the size
#2- removed the facebook faces bar with link to twitter on the right
#3- tilted "website designer & web developer" to lead focus to the artwork in the center
#4- tiled "joe jiko" signature for the same reason as #4
#5- added a google+ badge to quickly add me to your circles
#6- added links to quickly give me +k on my klout topics
#7- removed links and the "beta signup" top section. realigned the "more" button to the right.

More changes coming soon! Send me an email if you'd like to be notified when I push them out.

If you have any feedback or suggestions, please leave me a comment or send me a message on the contact form!

[1:26 pm] it's like someone said "if you could visualize the word 'anus' in a website.."
[1:26 pm] and then created PQ

[1:26 pm] ahah

Notes: I was given the task of redesigning the website above. The challenge? I was told to only spend 30-45 minutes on it. Usually, website design is a process involving market research, content planning, user experience consideration, and several other factors included in the creative design process that can take weeks! I came up with this mockup by cutting and reorganizing their current content which, in my opinion, is significantly better than their current display. They rejected it and I ended up creating a clone of another website with their branding. Oh well. Even if I know better, it's usually better to give the client what they want!
