So i'm just going to put everything together all at once that i think is a little more clear. I think the idea of racism (especially as a system issue) is flawed. i get the idea that some people are treated unfairly but the best way to go about dealing with that is on an individual level. what happened.. why did it happen.. who was involved.. is it wrong? Deal with those on a case-by-case basis. People see repeated examples from the media involving white vs black that is totally misrepresented. More crimes against black people are committed by other black people! it's a fact. It's entirely ignored. Black people have the issue of broken families. 77% of black babies are born out of wedlock. That is a huge factor in life success.. having both parents in the home regardless of race is a key indicator. No one should be judged by a group classification. Any classification. There are an infinite number of ways you can classify people. Education. Wealth. Cleanliness. Beauty. It never ends. Why pick just one as a determining factor of who a person is? I don't find it anything but harmful to tell white people as they grow up that they should feel guilty and shameful for something invisible that they are born with or something their ancient ancestors did that was obviously wrong and corrected long ago. I don't feel that it's helpful to raise black people thinking white people are better than them at anything or that they should fear the police because they will be treated inhumanely by them. The idea that black people are oppressed in any way now is ridiculous. If anything they have a privilege that white people can't have.. a proven privilege. Getting jobs solely for being black and no other qualification (recently the air traffic controller scandal is a good example of this). They get into colleges that they didn't score high enough to get into but the universities are forced to accept them anyway. Asians are discriminated against and get punished because other asians are scoring so high on tests they were getting in at such a high rate. The list goes on.. but this is a start.
Anyone who thinks I'm racist doesn't know shit about me or my story and they don't care to know. If you're white and male you're part of the problem
